  • Facilitate increased customer satisfaction with families.

General Components of the TCP™:

The TCP™ has been developed by Good News Consulting, Inc. to provide a combination of dynamic ON-SITE training sessions, competency consulting and coaching over the course of twelve months including the following:

  • A 4 hour training training session for the leadership team to facilitate a comprehensive understandin of the specialized skills and interventions that will be taught to all team members so that leadership can support the use of the techniques.
  • 2-hour training sessions (same content) conducted two times n one day on a quarterly basis to provide a total of 8 hours of comprehensive, evidenced-based dementia care training in one year. Each quarter would focus on a different competency with supporting theory and background information.
  • Dementia Care Specialist on-site once a month to provide competency consultation and coaching services - 2 opportunities each quarter for the team members to be coached and empowered to practice the specialized techniques that were taught in the training session. The Dementia Care Specialist would also facilitate problem solving and work with the care team to promote excellence in dementia care.
